Jessica Tabbert is a business and hospitality professional with over 16 years of experience in the events and hotel industries, including military protocol (large scale, high visibility military events). Her expertise includes project management, data analysis, customer service, network marketing, event consulting, and community outreach. She is also a veteran of the United States Army and U.S. Air Force Reserve, having served almost two decades.
As a military service member, Staff Sergeant Tabbert was responsible for the training, education, and leadership of men and women in military intelligence, command, control, and communications. She conducted analysis and designed programs to train military members to identify strategies execute mission-oriented plans and directives. Staff Sergeant Tabbert was also placed in leadership positions over the Honor Guard. She was responsible for the complete event planning and successful execution of military ceremonies from 250 to 20,000 attendees.
She continues her passion for event planning and strategic collaboration in her roles as CEO of J. Gisele, an events and entertainment agency specializing in culinary experiences, and as the Founder and Director of the CIC Military Cohort, a for-profit educational platform designed to offer business resources and workspace to veteran entrepreneurs and military spouse entrepreneurs. Using events as a platform, Mrs. Tabbert connects businesses and organizations with their target audience to facilitate networking and partnerships. She uses her knowledge of data analysis, strategic collaboration, and community building to create an environment which sustains business growth, builds relationships, and contributes to community efforts. She founded the CIC Military Cohort as a social entrepreneurship endeavor to empower veterans and military spouses to start and grow small businesses and corporations in South Florida. The program is currently operational at the Cambridge Innovation Center Miami, a coworking space in Wynwood. Mrs. Tabbert is also the Head of Military Partnerships at Caribu, an app that allows parents, mentors, and family members to read to children aged 0-7 when they are not in the same location.
Jessica has a Bachelor of Science in Sports, Entertainment, and Event Management from Johnson & Wales University. As a community leader, she is the Chair of the Mission United Outreach Committee, she volunteers annually with the Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Foundation, and is a partner with R Stars Project, a nonprofit organization which empowers high school youth to shine in their communities. She also serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Black Professionals Network and the Conference Director for the National Sales Network.
Mrs.Tabbert is married to Sergeant First Class Nathan Tabbert, an active duty soldier stationed at US Southern Command in Miami. Together they have four children. Jessica is also a huge nerd. When she’s not trying to take over the world, she loves adventure, reading, cooking, and learning things.
